Who We Are!

Twin Counties S.T.R.E.A.M. Academy (TCSA) is a nonprofit K-8 school located in Rocky Mount, NC. Our engaging and relational learning environment uses literacy as a driving force to inspire students in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math.

At TCSA, equity and diversity are at the core of our beliefs and are the common threads that unite our school community. The academy prides itself on the individualized learning goals built for each student and the intentionality placed on student learning and leadership. Creating opportunities to learn and meeting the needs of every child is our top priority.

TCSA will focus on creating loving learning environments built on mutual respect and trust. Through group collaboration, we believe imagination and innovation are the pathways to conquering what seems impossible. Our diverse student population represents several rural communities east along the I-95 corridor.

TCSA seeks to make an impact on students all over the nation. Teachers and school leaders are invited to witness the school community in action and participate in active learning professional development that fosters new understandings. Thus, TCSA will become a model school for transformation, innovation and reimagining.
