Meet The Board of Directors

Malcolm Logan, Esq., PMP is a multidimensional professional with expertise in Consulting, Personnel Management, Non-Profit Leadership, Customer Satisfaction, Strategic Planning, Thought-Leadership and Communication. He believes that success is grounded in integrity and intellectual acuity, coupled with rigorous attention to detail and creative problem solving. He serves as TCSA's Board Chair.

Max Avent has 31+ years of experience in real estate. During these years, he has had the pleasure of listing and selling residential and commercial properties for clients ranging from first time home buyers to large corporations. Additionally, he has an expertise and passion in community and economic development. This experience includes consulting and coordinating (e.g., aiding with political processes and logistics) with community stakeholders and corporations to assist with community empowerment and capacity building.

Ron Green is the CEO of the Boys and Girls Club. He began his 20-year career with Boys & Girls Clubs with the Boys & Girls Clubs of North MS. Ron serves on several local, regional, and national boards. Locally he is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Rocky Mount and a Paul Harris Fellow. Nationally he serves as the Dean of the Society of African American Professionals. Ron also serves on the President of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Advisory Council and the Board of Directors for the Professional Association of Boys & Girls Clubs workers.

Tim Suber is a Senior Traffic Technician for the City of Rocky Mount. Additionally, he serves as the Pastor of New Life Church in Rocky Mount. Tim is originally from Fayetteville, N.C., and graduated from Heritage Bible College in Dunn, N.C. He is the area coordinator of God Belongs in My City and is passionate about unifying people.

Timothy Jerome Walker, better known as TJ Walker holds a B.S. in Psychology from The North Carolina Central University. He currently serves as pastor of First Baptist Church in Weldon, NC. TJ is employed as a Community Engagement Coordinator and is the Ward 4 Councilman, Mayer Pro Tem in Rocky Mount, NC. TJ's goal is to bridge generational and racial divide gaps through equality and social justice in local government.

Leslie graduated from Meredith College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 2020, and has spent almost her entire post-graduate career in public accounting. She loves being a CPA because of the unique way she is able to serve others through “numbers work.​ Leslie has been married to her husband, Jason, since 2018. In their free time, the Jefferson's enjoy playing board games as well as cheering on the Carolina Panthers and the NC State Wolfpack.

Bronson Williams earned his B.S. from East Carolina University (ECU), in Greenville, North Carolina and was his master’s in Communication from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the owner and Executive Director of Promise Land Childcare Center in Rocky Mount, NC. His professional experience includes working as the treasurer for the Cedar Grove Baptist Church and is the project manager for WNCR-TV.

Tim Engleking’s background in business administration from North Carolina Wesleyan University has provided him with a strong foundation in management and operations. His current role as Director of Manufacturing and Quality at Cummins Sales and Service demonstrates his expertise in overseeing production processes and ensuring high standards of quality control. Additionally, his experience serving as a board member in educational settings indicates his commitment to community engagement and leadership development. It’s clear that Tim’s diverse skill set makes him a valuable asset to TCSA, bringing both strategic insight and practical experience to the table.
